Katarzyna Kardas, President and CEO
Katarzyna Kardas brings over twenty years of cross-sectoral professional experience in design and management of international development programs in the field of business and social development, finance and macroeconomics, and intellectual property, among others. She worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), and Intellectual Property Office of the European Union (EUIPO).
During her work at the IMF’s Global Partnerships, she was in charge of fundraising and management of multi-donor trust funds covering over 40 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and West Africa, supporting macroeconomic stability and creation of an environment conducive to investment.
While at CIDA, she was in charge of the Canadian Government Technical Assistance Program for Poland and regional initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe, which contributed to the region's successful transition to democracy and market economy.
Katarzyna Kardas holds an MBA from the London Business School, HEC School of Management Paris, and Warsaw University of Technology, and has also taken specialized executive courses at Harvard University, Georgetown University, New York University, Boston University, and Warsaw School of Economics.
Pablo Rodas-Martini, Vice President and Director of Market Intelligence
Pablo Rodas-Martini has more than 30 years of experience in international trade, economic development, and macroeconomics in emerging markets, in particular, in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has a profound knowledge of the history, economic development, macroeconomic performance, business environment, competitive advantage, and trade profiles of most of Latin American and Caribbean countries.
He was Chief Economist of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) and Advisor at the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
